PT Barum was right when he said, "a sucker is born every minute". But, sometimes, you get something that's WORTH your money.
In January 2005, i bought a "haunted doll" on ebay. Here's the description (i had to re-word it a bit, as was written badly):
"I am selling this item for a friend of mine. He owns his clean up business and bids on jobs. He asked me to get rid of this doll for him. He said he got a call to clean up the house where there had been a death. So he went to clean this house up -- it took him about 3 weeks to get it done.
He said he would've had the whole house completed, except for one room. On the 2nd day, he discovered this doll -- about 30 min later he got a call that his wife is sick and needs him to come home.
He took the doll home with him, and claim that he hasn't sleep a whole night with the doll in the house. According to him, the fire alarm kept going off all night. There was no fire, but there WAS smoke in it! He went in, and it disappeared; this has been going on for some time.
One day, his Wife came home from shopping, and heard a little girl's voice. She then called him up. When he arrived, he found his Wife sitting in the car. He went in -- nothing. One night, he was on his bed when he turned around in the hallway, and saw a little girl standing talking with the doll! He yelled at her & she turned and walked away................. This has happened about 7 times.
Now the fire alarms are going off at night he is getting no sleep. His Wife hears a little girl and she is very unhappy with the doll being in her home. I asked him if he knew anything about the house where he found it. He said there was a fire in the little girl's room, but the rest of the house only had smoke and water damage.
The fire was just in that room and the little girl lost her life. He believes that she was about 8 or 9. He brought the doll over today told me all this and I said I list her on ebay to find her a nice home. Just to be safe, i put her out in the ware house and she has set the fire alarms off already! This doll is very, very busy......
I bought this doll from her and set her on our livingroom sofa. I took about a hundred pictures, but nothing showed up. The video showed no movement. BUT, strangely enuff, after a half hour went by, i started getting EXTREMELY warm -- it was only 30 degrees out, but i had take off my shirt, and turn on the A/C !!!! (Could i have been "sensing" the FIRE??!??!).
I was using my Sony portable DAT, and 5 mins into the recording, i heard a noise (that sounds like someone shaking a spray paint can....if you listen closely, you can hear whispering), then a female voice whispers, "hold me!". There was no one in the house but my 5 cats and me.....and i was cleaning the garage.
Even tho i only got one EVP (so far), i plan on doing more experiments, and will be posting the EVPs here. I also bought another "haunted doll" off ebay...........it appears to be some sort of "magickal object" (sort of like a voodoo doll) and was found in a mortuary! If i have any success with THAT one, i'll post the results of that one, too!
Click on the clip name that you want to hear......you might have to turn up the volume on your PC. (The "bell" sound you might hear is a "chime fountain"). I've repeated each one several times.
