Ghosts
The magnificent Flanders Hotel (Ocean City, NJ) was built in 1923. It has 9 floors, 2 hidden "Speakeasies", basement "catacombs", Penthouses...... and a resident ghost, "Emily"! You can read about the hotel's history here.
Many employees and guests have seen Emily. She "appears and disappears into walls, plays with door locks, unscrews light bulbs, and sings happily in its halls...." After our investigations, we found it amusing that many of the hotel staff will not go in the "catacombs", but the most haunted areas are the lobby, and 2nd & 4th floors!
On our Vacation in 8/05, we got permission to photograph all the "haunted" areas...this is what we found....
