Revisited!
I re-visited this Revolutionary War house (circa 1740) on 4/19/05. The house is currently under a (much-needed!) renovation; see pix:

I (again) put my camera right up to the windows, and shot into the house. The pictures below DO show some dirt of the window glass, but SOME of them are ORBS -- these appear much brighter and appear to be MOVING! (Dirt on a window DOESN"T move!):

The movement of these orbs is similar to one i photographed in the basement of the "Piscataway House":
